He plays the guitar, quena, charango, and accordion expertly.<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]As a young boy in the city of Ayacucho, Samuel Saccsara experienced the spiritual war between the Gospel and the witchcraft traditionally practiced by his culture and family. His father, who once worshiped the devil, became a Christian and raised Samuel in the Church. After Samuel met his wife Rosa, the two young believers had to escape their home town because of terrorist threats. After arriving in Lima, Samuel and Rosa worked for the Scripture Union on the coast. In 1989 they were invited to join the Runa Simi team as full time missionaries.<\/p>\n

Samuel is the director of Runa Simi\u2019s communications ministry. Originally he used his musical gifts to help others produce Christian music in their own languages. Today many things are produced in the Runa Simi recording studio including radio programs and other audio visual materials in different languages of Peru for evangelism and discipleship.<\/p>\n

Samuel has also been trained by the \u201cPrecepts\u201d ministry and is a Bible teacher. He teaches inductive Bible courses, workshops on creating Radio programs, and workshops for scripture promotion using audio and video. Over the years, Samuel, his wife Rosa and three children have traveled throughout the Peruvian Andes teaching the Scriptures and building up the Quechua Church.<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Rosa Saccsara is a Quechua speaker from Ayacucho, Peru. She has served Runa Simi with her husband Samuel for over 20 years.<\/p>\n

As young Christians, Rosa and her husband Samuel had to leave their home town because of terrorist threats. For several years they worked for the Scripture Union on the coast.  In 1989 they were invited to join the Runa Simi team as full time missionaries. Over the years, Rosa and Samuel and their three children have traveled throughout the Peruvian Andes teaching the Scriptures and building up the Quechua Church. Rosa\u2019s whole family serves as Quechua missionaries reaching their people for Christ.<\/p>\n

Today, Rosa works as Runa Simi\u2019s secretary and oversees accounting and administration. She is key to the functioning of Runa Simi\u2019s organizational operations, without which Runa Simi missionaries could not perform their ministry.<\/p>\n

In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Rosa also works with the women\u2019s ministry and in the translation department. As part of the women\u2019s ministry, she teaches workshops at the different conferences in the mountains and in Lima. As part of the translation team, Rosa helps oversee translation efforts, and helps edit Quechua materials.<\/p>\n
