[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Alfredo Fajardo, cofundador de Runa Simi en 1983. Ha trabajado con la organizaci\u00f3n desde sus inicios y ha ocupado los cargos de vicepresidente y presidente. Tambi\u00e9n estuvo presente cuando R\u00f3mulo fue asesinado por Sendero Luminoso en 1992.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alfredo es quechua hablante de ayacuchano. Escuch\u00f3 el Evangelio por primera vez en 1980, durante una campa\u00f1a evangel\u00edstica en la ciudad de Ayacucho. Dicha campa\u00f1a fue organizada por R\u00f3mulo Sau\u00f1e, quien acababa de regresar al Per\u00fa. Margarita, la novia de Alfredo y creyente, colaboraba en la campa\u00f1a y oraba fervientemente por \u00e9l. Alfredo acept\u00f3 a Cristo unos meses m\u00e1s tarde, como resultado de las oraciones de ella, de visiones y sue\u00f1os, y del testimonio de otros creyentes. Dej\u00f3 su trabajo secular y comenz\u00f3 a servir al Se\u00f1or.<\/span><\/p>\n

En 1979, R\u00f3mulo regres\u00f3 al Per\u00fa con el Nuevo Testamento completo grabado en quechua. Alfredo comenz\u00f3 a ayudarle a distribuir este Nuevo Testamento en audio a las iglesias quechuas, labor que contin\u00faa realizando hoy en d\u00eda, m\u00e1s de 30 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s. Actualmente, la Biblia quechua completa en audio \u2014en sus diversos dialectos\u2014 llega a iglesias y grupos familiares a trav\u00e9s del Proclaimer (un dispositivo digital con altavoz que funciona con energ\u00eda solar). Para muchos quechua hablantes analfabetos, esta herramienta representa su \u00fanico acceso a las Escrituras.
